This picture of a recently renovation kitchen showcases our quartz countertop selection.   In working with a colour theme you can see the importance of colour matching your countertops to your cabinet doors to your hardware accessories and fixtures.

Shower Tile Inlay

This shower tile inlay job from Toronto Custom Concepts showcases a glass shower enclosure with stunning 24" x 12" porcelain wall tiles laid vertically.

Then embedded within the pattern is the shower's glass tile inlay to give the shower some more texture and character.  It is a great accent feature that helps to draw your attention to it, yet it is not too over-powering of a shower inlay whereby the design is here today and gone tomorrow

This built-in shower seating unit provides a comfortable area to relax safely while in the shower.

The shower seating area is both stylish and practical, so that shaving your legs in the shower could never be easier.  The design also is useful for when you want to take a long hot shower but not stand upright for 20 minutes doing so.

Built-in Storage Unit

Just completed this built-in storage cabinet in the Rosedale area of Toronto.

As you can see in the upper left corner of the built-in unit, we needed to take into account the angle of the sloped ceiling.  The transition from the top part of the the unit to the angled side needed to look seamless and nothing drastic to draw your eye to it.

Bathroom Sink Storage

When designing a floating bathroom vanity, one must consider how to conceal the layout of plumbing pipes while still maintaining a modern or contemporary look and feel to the bathroom vanity sink area.  Bathroom sink sometimes have a difficult time offering ample storage while sacrificing space while maintaining a a certain design.  Here is one bathroom we renovated where we came up with a creative solution that preserved a certain aesthetic look while still providing hidden storage for bathroom supplies... The four side clips allow easy access to storage while maintaining the design style of the vanity...Check it out!

Mirrored Exercise Wall

Installing a mirrored exercise wall offers a workout area with a functional purpose as well as both a decorative and design element as well.  Mirrored walls expand the space and give the illusion that the room is double its size.

Floor to ceiling and wall to wall mirrors need to measured exactly and there is no room for error. Measuring walls, ceiling and floors that are not perfectly square and level make this a very tricky request, but as you can see from this Toronto basement project, this mirrored exercise wall is the perfect accessory for those who are looking to keep fit!

Custom Heating Vent Covers

Building custom heating vent covers adds that extra bit of a personalized touch to any project. Custom heat covers provide an elegant design that allow you to camouflage your home HVAC infrastructure to the rooms in your home.  Here is an example of a custom heating vent cover we just completed in a work-out ballet studio in Toronto.   As you can see...the mirrored vent cover blends in perfectly with the wall to wall mirror.  Very nice touch!

Custom Cabana Project

This custom cabana project in Oakville was a custom design and build project led by Toronto Custom Concepts.  The cabana has two closed sides for privacy and two open sides for immediate access to the swimming pool and outdoor BBQ.  The cabana sloped roof was accented with premium cedar planks and with the back accent wall with cedar strips behind the wall mounted TV.  The cabana was completed in stucco with LED potlights.  Hope you like this cabana project!

This Toronto condo bathroom renovation project completed by Toronto Custom Concepts this month showcases a beautiful executive condo in downtown Toronto. We renovation this bathroom from top to bottom to include the latest in stunning porcelein tiles, quartz countertops, glass enclosure shower.

This Toronto custom dining room renovation was completed this month...It include a full tear-down and rebuilt reno.   Here is a picture of the completed dining room...The dining had some older track lightning and dated flooring....The new renovation includes new hardwood flooring, drywall,  new pot lightings.... A wonderful update to a fantastic executive condo and great clients!

This Toronto basement wine cellar was part of a larger basement renovation we did in Etobicoke this year....The basement cellar was retrofit to account for our client taste and storage of fine wine.  As you can see this basement wine storage system can hold numerous bottles of your favourite wine.   Cheers!

We just finished a Toronto kitchen countertop and backsplash renovation in the bay and bloor area of Toronto...We were excited to work on this entire condo renovation whereby the kitchen was being upgraded to a white shaker cabinet door style with brownish quartz countertops... Basement Windows Renovation

This Toronto basement renovation with two windows was completed recently in an upscale home in last month by TCC.    When designing your basement layout, it is important to visualize how you want your windows to look once your basement has been renovated.  We suggest you consider the following items:  minimal drywall joins due to any overhead beams, drop down ceilings, corners...you should also plan for clearance of window trim as well...we have seen some awful basement designs where the windows were obviously neglected in the design phase by the clients/contractors... proper basement planning is the key to a successful basement renovation project...ask us for our basement design checklist!

Stone shower flooring is a greater access to any bathroom renovation project...Toronto Custom Concepts just completed a full basement bathroom renovation project which included a full bathroom shower renovation.  As part of the shower, our client looked to use natural stone pebbles and the final results are unique and stunning!

Shower LED lights are a beautiful accent to any bathroom shower renovation...Both sleek and functional, shower LED lights provide additional brightness and style to any dark bathrooms.    Proper planning must be considered when looking to include LEDs into a bathroom shower renovation, but when done correctly the results can be absolutely amazing!

This floating wall mounted toilet that we incorporated into this beautiful home in Toronto showcases a very clean modern look...Toilets don't need to all look the exact same.  This wall mounted toilet eliminates the visual associated with bulky plumbing of traditional toilets.  The flushing console is also installed on the wall as well

Modern Toronto Condo Laundry Room

Nest Thermostat in Canada

Nest thermostat has been a standard on many of our recent home renovations.  Nest thermostat learns your preferred temperature and allows you to always keep your home at the correct temperature.

Nest programs itself and is capable of automatically turning the temperature down in your home while you are away.

You can also configure Nest to adjust the temperature remotely via your smartphone.

Milla Door Levers by Orion Hardware

We just installed some beautiful Milla door levers from Orion Hardware.   Our client is absolutely thrilled with the end product and how stunning their new door levers look from Orion Hardware.

The quality of the Milla door handle seems to be solid and top notch.
We are starting to look at recommending these door levers to more of our clientele.

Home Painters Toronto

Finding home painters in Toronto who are insured and have experience in large scale painting is sometimes a difficult challenge.  Painting in large residential or commercial structures across the Greater Toronto Area requires extra steps outside of the normal steps from standard residential home painters.

For example in this TCC renovation picture that our painter completed this month, a network of complex scaffolds and multi-class ladders were put up to ensure that all painting was done in a safe manner while producing top quality results for our client.  So always double check references of any painter you consider for your next home or commercial painting project in Toronto

Modern White Dresser

This modern white dresser incorporates a sleek modern look with a high lustre finish.

The white dresser provides ample storage for both of the clients long hanging items in both the left and corner sections of this modern dresser.  This modern white dresser has also a 3 drawer pull out section as well...all accented beautifully via black pull handles across all sections of the dresser.

TV Wallunit Dresser

This TV wallunit dresser was custom designed and built to fit the clients measurements.

They wanted a wallunit to incorporate both their long and medium length hanging requirements.   The dresser incorporated potlights as a nice lighting accent.  The wallunit dresser also provided a dedicated space for their TV and electronic accessories including a series of center bank pullout drawers.  The TV wallunit dresser was finished off with chocolate pear crown moulding.

Toronto laundry room flooring can vary from plaid white to something more exciting and eye catching such as this laundry room flooring project we just recently completed.

The limestone in the middle of a French pattern layout that is contained within a marble mosaic frame. The accent is then surrounded by white 12 x 24 white porcelain tiles.

Blanco Practika Sink Washboard

The Blanco Practika sink washboard is a great quality product with a fantastic design to allow you easily rub out any stained clothes without searching your entire home for a washboard when you need it.

The Practika raised washboard for scrubbing is very functional yet is out of sight since it is hidden across from the faucet on an angled slope.

Laundry Room Drying Rack

This laundry room drying rack offers a wonderful way to spread out your clothes for hang drying when needed but your collapses back nicely to less than 15% of its outstretched size to ensure that it is tucked away when not needed.

The drying rack is also great for hanging up lighter sports equipment like jerseys, shirts, hockey socks etc to dry out.

Toronto Flooring with NuHeat

Toronto flooring with Nuheat allows you to warm up your floors to meet you exact temperature specifications.

We have installed the Nuheat floor heating system in a recent Toronto laundry room renovation project.
Nuheat flooring can provide warmth to a variety of different flooring materials including tile, granite, stone and some types of engineered wood floors.  Pictured below is the Nuheat programmable thermostat that allows you to easily set your preferred temperature.

For example in this Toronto laundry room cabinets were and off white wrapped thermafoil cabinet.
The valence was produced to match exactly the same style as well.

We match up with laundry room cabinets with a white quartz countertop.
The floor was marble inlay with a mosaic border and white porcelain surround.

Laundry Mud Rooms in Toronto

Here are some laundry mud rooms that we have completed across the Greater Toronto Area.

When planning out a mud room/laundry room renovation, one should carefully plan out the following details with their licensed renovation contractor:

-plumbing including water lines in and out to the drain for the washing machine

-proper and appropriate venting for the dryer

-safety measures for locking stackable washer/dryer combos

-location and positioning of power outlets

-adequate upper and lower storage cabinets

-appropriate materials for flooring, countertops, backsplash etc...

This stunning shower renovation included beautiful porcelain tiles along the sides and back walls of the shower stall.    The shower floor was also constructed using porcelain tiles.   The shower was completed with a marble shower surround.

We completed this Toronto bathroom renovation that incorporated a beautiful new vanity in the newly renovated basement bathroom.   This rounded front face vanity is highlighted with a stunning black quartz countertop.

In this basement flooring renovation project that we completed, TCC incorporated new flooring that tied into the lower staircase area.   You can see the nice alternating pattern of wide and narrow planks running down the hallway.

Shimmer Screen Beads Renovation

Shimmer screen beads were a major accent that was incorporated into one of our latest bathroom renovation projects.   This was another custom venture by TCC, so we were super excited to to get down to the hard work to build out this custom shimmer screen bathroom renovation.

THere is another Toronto Custom Concepts bathroom featuring a stunning end to end glass shower.  You can see the wall mounted shower fixtures on the picture on the left hand side.  You can see the embedded quartz shelf built-into the wall on the picture on the right side.  The back is a beautiful marble wall and the floor is a marble mosaic.    The shower is headlined by the oversized rainhead shower accented by pot lights on either side.  We hope you like this glass shower bathroom
