This Oakville kitchen wine fridge installed by Toronto Custom Concepts was part of a home renovation kitchen project for one of our top repeat customers.   When they moved into their new home they renovated the kitchen with this brand new built in wine fridge with matching white painted cabinetry.

Oakville Waffle Ceiling

This Oakville waffle ceiling and crown moulding renovation project is in-progress in the Joshua Creek area of Northeast Oakville.   The scope of this project is the entire main floor of this home.   While renovating this home our client want us to retrofit their ceiling with a staggered waffle ceiling with centre section for a new living room chandelier.

Toronto Spice Racks

Kitchen spice racks installed by Toronto Custom Concepts can enhance the total organizational space available in your kitchen by tucking away your spice racks out of sight, but having them conveniently available when needed since they are located immediately besides your stove/oven.

These spice racks are very convenient and they come with adjustable sliders to secure your spices from falling over when opening your spice drawer.  These spice racks also come in various heights and they have a front cabinetry panel to match the rest of your kitchen cabinets.

Toronto Custom Kitchen Benches

These custom built benches are a perfect addition for our client's kitchen eating area.  The new cabinets are the same style and colour as their new kitchen cabinetry to have a consistent look and feel across the kitchen.

 The bench seating area has built-in slide drawers for additional storage for the kids toys or for other kitchen supplies.   You can also see on this second picture that we reworked the HVAC vent to reroute the vent thru the series of holes and out thru the cabinetry... Hope you like it.

This closet renovation was more for fun than anything... We built out my closet and then stuffed it back up with all my clothes....Check out these empty and full pictures... I really need to get another closet or start to purge some more clothes!!!

As an aside, we just wanted to point out one storage topic of interest...

The picture on the left showcases one of our design configurations for leveraging the wasted space typically associated with closet corners (fyi...we have 4 different designs to make better use of a closet corner).  In the photo on the right, I have taken advantage of my corner hidden storage space by adding 2 suitcase luggages on the corner hidden shelves (one is located on the top shelf and the other one on the bottom shelf).  This design is perfect for those folks who travel often but don't want to see their suitcases when they are not on the road travelling...Clean and simple storage by TCC.

Stone Shower Flooring from Toronto CC

Stone shower flooring is a greater access to any bathroom renovation project...Toronto Custom Concepts just completed a full basement bathroom renovation project which included a full bathroom shower renovation.  As part of the shower, our client looked to use natural stone pebbles and the final results are unique and stunning!

Custom Heat Registers

Custom heat registers provide that integrated look and a seamless finish to a renovation project.   Heat registers are necessary but the standard builder ones take away from the completeness of a custom renovation project.

For example, we completed a bathroom last month, and you can see in the following picture if we used a standard heat register the bathroom flooring would have seemed nice but not perfect. 


The porcelain tile we used didn't flow into a standard heat register, so we used an existing porcelain tile and then custom cut into a pattern that presented a seamless transition from tiles to heat register.   We were absolutely thrilled with the final outcome and so was our client!

LED Lights Ideas

Installing LED lights are all the rage now-a-days....Clients are asking us to install them in some fantastic locations.  Gone are the days that these lights were only for behind your valence and below your upper kitchen cabinets.  We have installed these LED lights in a variety of locations, here are a few of our favs:

Toronto Custom Shelving Ideas

We have done some creative custom shelving ideas across the greater Toronto area... here are some suggestions that you should consider when planning out your next project.

Custom shelving/storage improvement projects include:

1) corner spaces - leverage custom shelving in corner, consider lazy susans and extendible corner units
2) loft spaces - you may want to leverage pull down hanging storage...great for laundry rooms and closets
3) basements - plan out amble shelving and storage when converting an unfinished basement to a finished one
4) hard to reach spaces - elevated storage is great in garages, mezzanine areas
5) hidden spaces - some of the most unused space are the best ones for custom shelving, such as behind staircases and in closets...these are great to plan for when starting a new custom built home.

Ledgestone Design Ideas

Ledgestone design ideas vary thruout your home including using ledgestone for amazing fireplace surrounds.  You can also incorporate ledgestone into your backsplash designs including in your kitchen, laundry room, office and wet-bar to name a few.    Ledgestone is also a great option when looking to accent a particular wall or structure.
