Toronto Design Drawings and Plans

Design drawings and plans are done in-house by our on-staff designer using AutoCAD.  Here is just a sample of an output that is used by our project renovation team to ensure the reno goes as smoothly as possible, and that nothing is assumed or taken for granted.

Toronto Open Concept Contractor

Toronto open concept contractors must be well versed in all aspects of properly planning for unknowns when a client asks to remove load bearing walls.   Often a contractor can not make a suggestion on how to proceed until walls have been opened up to reveal what is behind them and only once an engineer has been brought onsite to make a professional assessment.   We recently started a new project in an older 90+ year old home and we often have to come up with creative ways in working with the engineer to ensure the new beams or LVLs can carry the load without issues while since considering how to make the final design aesthetically pleasing to our clients.  Here is a picture of the early stages of demotion to start to achieve an open concept layout...More pictures to come of the final renovation.

This Oakville fireplace renovation was part of a larger home renovation project.   This fireplace design provides a nice contemporary look with a sleek linear fireplace, floor to ceiling tile facade, built-in stereobar soundsystem, and matching built-in shelving.

NKBA Award Winner - Toronto Custom Concepts's Brittany Oakley

Congratulations to Toronto Custom Concepts's lead designer Brittany Oakley for winner in the category for Best Promotional Design at last evening National Kitchen & Bath's annual gala awards.  Brittany is a back to back winner in both 2020 and 2019.   Brittany won for her unique design of Euroline's Dolce & Gabbana/SMEG both at the 2019 Toronto International Design Show.

Last evening Toronto Custom Concepts was please to be a silver sponsor for the annual National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) Awards Gala held at the Paramount Eventspace in Woodbridge.  This is the second year in a row in which we have sponsored the NKBA awards gala.

Blending Traditional & Contemporary Design

We really enjoy being able to blend both traditional aspects of a renovation such as this classic oak staircase with wainscoting with the introduction of the light blue cabinetry with seated area at the entrance of this home.
