Toronto Open Concept Contractor

Toronto open concept contractors must be well versed in all aspects of properly planning for unknowns when a client asks to remove load bearing walls.   Often a contractor can not make a suggestion on how to proceed until walls have been opened up to reveal what is behind them and only once an engineer has been brought onsite to make a professional assessment.   We recently started a new project in an older 90+ year old home and we often have to come up with creative ways in working with the engineer to ensure the new beams or LVLs can carry the load without issues while since considering how to make the final design aesthetically pleasing to our clients.  Here is a picture of the early stages of demotion to start to achieve an open concept layout...More pictures to come of the final renovation.
