Toronto Load Bearing Wall Removal
This TorontoCC load bearing wall removal project west of Toronto is a great project where our client wanted to renovate their entire 2 storey home and take a traditional 30 year old home and then convert the main floor to a more contemporary open concept home lay out. As you can see in this phase of the load bearing wall removal project, we built up a series of temporary walls to support the load of the second floor. We brought in our engineering company that we partner to size up what was required to support the load. Once they crunched all of the numbers and gave us the specs, we had 3 custom I-Beams cut to size and then installed to able to safely remove the interior walls of the home and to meet all of the appropriate city codes and inspections.
