2019 KBIS Las Vegas Toronto Custom Concepts

Toronto Custom Concepts invades Las Vegas this week as we are in attendance for the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) KBIS and IBS conferences.   This is the biggest and best event for us to learn about the latest trends in design, product education and getting to meet new industry vendors.   We were lucky enough to be invited to this private event from the great folks over at Caesarstone at this custom home in Henderson, NV showcasing the latest and greatest quartz offerings incorporate into this beautiful home.   Check out the picture!

Caesarstone Metropolitan Launch

Caesarstone Metropolitan launch party this week in Toronto at the Four Seasons Canadian Opera Company was an amazing event showcasing the latest product collection from Caesarstone.   Our favourite offering is the new 4044 Airy Concrete model.  It looks stunning in both a contemporary or industrial design renovation.

Dave Jurinic from Toronto Custom Concepts was presenting at SOFA yesterday to a packed room of designers about the 5 steps to a successful renovation.   Over 130 top designers from the GTA attended the event which was sponsored by BILD / Renomark.   Dave discussed the importance of various planning topic and other areas to consider in advance of starting any renovation / construction project.

This past week, Toronto Custom Concepts was celebrating our 6th Anniversary with a get together with the our guys, trades and partners.   Thanks Gents for the effort over the past 6 years, looking forward to continuing the momentum and fun!

Toronto Chair Affair 2017

A few weeks back on Friday November 3rd, we were able to help support a notable cause in the Toronto area called Furniture Bank's Chair Affair event held at the Casalife warehouse in Etobicoke just south of the QEW at Kipling.

Furniture Bank does a wonderful job in gathering and refurbishing gently used furniture and providing it to those families who can use it and extend the life of the collected home furniture across the GTA.   Chair Affair is their annual event that raise funds to help support their mission by having the top interior designers in Toronto revamp a chair and put it up for auction with the proceeds helping Furniture Bank and the community.

IBS and KBIS Conference

This week we just returned back from Las Vegas where we attending the NKBA KBIS conference and the IBS conference.

It was great to see the latest products and talk to the industry experts about the latest renovation trends.

Chair Affair 2015

On Friday evening we were sponsoring Furniture Bank's annual Chair Affair auction event at the International Centre by the Toronto Airport.  We were introduced to the Chair Affair by one of our colleague's Cori Halpern who was one of the headline designer participating in the event.

Below is a picture of Cori and Dave with Cori's chair which she designed for the event and was auctioned off to help provide furniture for three families in need.  Great to giveback to the community.

Just a reminder for the early bird ticket price of $150 before August 30 for Furniture Bank's Chair Affair.    It is an annual auction based gala and fundraiser for designers to redesign and repurpose old chairs for auction. 

It is being held at the Toronto International Centre on Airport Road on Oct 30th.
