When planning out a mud room/laundry room renovation, one should carefully plan out the following details with their licensed renovation contractor:
-plumbing including water lines in and out to the drain for the washing machine
-proper and appropriate venting for the dryer
-safety measures for locking stackable washer/dryer combos
-location and positioning of power outlets
-adequate upper and lower storage cabinets
-appropriate materials for flooring, countertops, backsplash etc...
